Horse massage, chiropractic and bodywork may be terms you're used to hearing or they may be foreign, especially if you are new to horses. Just like people, horses (especially competitive horses) use their bodies in such a way that to maintain a healthy, happy horse, it's very important to make sure their body is working the way it's supposed to. When the horse feels good, he will be much happier and more willing to work.

Imagine if you were asked to carry someone on your back and work in an arena or go for a long hike when your body is hurting? It is our duty as loving horse owners to provide the best care we can for our horses.

Horse bodywork has proven to help with many soreness and stiffness issues as well as maintaining healthy functioning bodies. It is also helpful in preventing injuries and catching something before it becomes a problem.

Talk to your trainer, horse friends, or people at your barn and ask if they have any recommendations for who you should contact to work on your horse. Your horse will thank you for it!
