Have you ever taken a moment to consider how amazing your horse is and what the both of you are capable of accomplishing together without words? Sometimes we get so caught up in the craziness of day-to-day chores, riding, showing, training, that we forget what an amazing gift the horse is to us.

This wild, beautiful and powerful creature has allowed yo to teach it how to be around humans, to ride upon its back, and ultimately to enter into a working partnership.

Perhaps the road to this amazing place was not easy and there might have been times you weren't sure either you or your horse would make it. There were probably tears, anger, confusion and injuries. But on the other side is something very beautiful. Possibly made even more beautiful by the hard road that led you there.

Horses are special gifts and so are the experiences and lessons they bring us. Take a moment this week to look at your horse, to say thank you, and be amazed.
